This week I'm packing for my trip to Kauai. Somehow packing always ends up being more about shopping for me. So I took to Etsy to see what treasures I could find to make my tropical vacation perfectly styled.
I could bring my crochet hook and whip up this vintage bikini pattern on the plane. I'd throw on this classic Hawaiian shirt and these colorful vintage shades, which would match these bright sandals, for my first trip to the beach. I used to have a pair of these cute hand-painted parrots, I wonder if I could find them. Finally, it's not a tropical vacation without an umbrella in your drink, and I have a weakness for Mai Tais, maybe I could pack my own umbrellas in the great vintage luggage set.
Unfortunately on my current budget I'll have to do most of my shopping in my own closet. But one can always dream...
