How To:
Make Your Own Stamps

My firsts posts on this blog were about valentines I made using what was essentially a giant rubber stamp.  Carving your own stamps is fun and easy and opens the door to all kinds of crafty opportunity.  Last week, Nathan was having a hard time finding a "thumbs-up" stamp for grading papers, so I took the opportunity to whip one up myself.  Here's how...

First you need to decide on a design, and transfer it onto your carving block.

And your stamp is done.  I finished mine is way less time than it took to type up this blog post.  I used Speedball carving materials for this project, they can be found at any craft store.  Happy stamping!
